With a base of Earl Grey (traditionally a black tea flavored with bergamot oil), The Companion is complemented with the addition of vanilla, lavender, and blue cornflower. The addition of these gives the normally bold tea a nice, smooth aftertaste. It takes a strong, compassionate woman to be a companion to The Doctor, a relationship we feel we have reflected in this tea blend.
Recommendation for drinking:
Makes for a superb London Fog (sweetened and mixed with steamed milk), as the lavender is already included as part of the blend.

Amount: Healthy pinch per 2 to 3 cups tea*
*Our teas are less processed with no sugar added, so a healthy pinch (between your thumb, index, and middle fingers) is perfect for a cup of tea. Do not add too much tea to your steeper of choice, as the leaves will double or triple in size. Depending on how strong you like your tea, you can also steep our tea leaves multiple times because of the quality.
