With a base of Earl Grey (traditionally a black tea flavored with bergamot oil), The Companion is complemented with the addition of vanilla, lavender, and blue cornflower. The addition of these gives the normally bold tea a nice, smooth aftertaste. It takes a strong, compassionate woman to be a companion to The Doctor, a relationship we feel we have reflected in this tea blend. Recommendation for drinking: Makes for a superb London Fog (sweetened and mixed with steamed milk), as the lavender is already included as part of the blend.
